Parker Funeral Home and Crematory
Direct Cremation - $1025.00
This price is effective as of January 12, 2010 ~ (Prices are subject to change without notice)
At Parker Funeral Home and Crematory, we believe that cremation should be dignified, professional and at a reasonable cost.
We are the only funeral home in Douglas and Elbert Counties, operating our own crematory. The crematory is on site at our premises, so no additional transportation need be made. We are a family owned and operated business that is sensitive to the needs of others and their families, so once your loved one is in our care, he or she will remain in our care throughout the entire cremation process.
Direct Cremation (No Viewing or Visitation): includes, transfer of remains to our facility; necessary services of the funeral director and the staff; use of necessary facilities; care and preparation of body for crematory; alternative container (cardboard) for transfer to crematory; filing of necessary permits; crematory fee; and cremains are returned in a non-biodegradable urn, or the container of your choice at an additional cost. Taxes are not included in the above price.
We also file a Statement of Death by Funeral Director to Social Security. A spouse and dependent children are the only ones entitled to receive a lump sum death benefit of $255.00. The funeral home will also be happy to send obituaries to the local papers if the family would like us to at nominal charge. An additional charge of $2.00 per mile will be charged for any removals over a 25 mile radius of the funeral home area, one way.
Payment in full is expected at the time the arrangements are made, unless other arrangements have been made prior.
